Blueberry and Cinnamon Porridge

Ingredients (Serves 2)

  • 70g Porridge Oats
  • 500ml water/skimmed milk/goats/rice/oat or almond milk whichever suited to you
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • 50g Blueberries
  • 20g Toasted Pecan Nuts
  • 1/2tsp milled flaxseeds

Method

  • 1. Place rolled oats, milk of choice or water and cinnamon into a small saucepan and warm gently until boiling then reduce to simmer for another 5 minutes until the oats are softened.
  • 2. Serve in a bowl with blueberries, toasted pecans and freshly milled flaxseeds
  • 3. Eat straight away
